What's Better? Stick Built or Cinder Block?

Block has its own benefits as well as stick building each one different. Block would be good protection from wind driven projectiles were as stick built ones are not. On the other hand if a block building is shifted ot moved in any form it will crack and lose its strength were a stick/wood one will move and keep its integrity. Block is good for termite areas. Stick easier to make energy efficient than block. Etc., Etc....They each have advantages and disadvantages, you just need to see which is better for your situation by doing some research. FEMA can and does make some recommendations in this area as far as building suggestions.
