Opinions on Fort Hood?

I am infantry going to Fort Hood and i was wondering if there was any infantry out there or any other people that have been stationed at fort hood. I just wanted to know what your experience was like there and your opinion of it. By the way i live in san antonio so i already know what Texas is like. I would have liked to go to some other duty station, maybe over seas but needs of the army come first. Thanks..PS any one know the upcoming deployments for 1st cav?
