What Rune Set do you recommend?

I'm looking to get some runes. (Runes and good rune book, do not need to come together). I'm buying them off of amazon. What is a good run book, and set of runes. I noticed that some runes are a certain stone, or wood from a tree (like amethyst or willow). What book/runes do you recommend?
